What is Perioperative Theatre Technology (Theatre Training)?
About Theatre Technician Course
Perioperative theatre technologists (PTT) are allied health professionals who play a crucial role in the smooth running of operating rooms.
As healthcare evolves, and our hospitals’ capacity to perform major and minor surgeries increases, the demand for skilled professionals in this area is also growing in different counties across the country.
This Diploma and Certificate in Perioperative Theatre Technology program is designed to equip students with competencies required to participate in provision of perioperative services in a hospital set up.
Perioperative theatre services refer to the comprehensive care provided to patients before, during, and after surgery. The goal of PTT services is to provide safe, effective, and efficient care to patients undergoing surgery.
This involves minimizing complications, reducing pain, and promoting a speedy recovery.
