What is Homecare Management?
Homecare Management consists of competencies that an individual must achieve to perform:
- Household duties
- Conduct laundry operations
- Conduct cookery operations
- Provide child care
- Care for domestic pets
With our short, 6-week program, students will also get the advantage of receiving Free Computer Classes and First Aid Training!

Training Details
Full-time training.
8.30 am to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
6 weeks.
An individual entering this course should have any of the following minimum requirements:
- Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE)
Or
- Equivalent qualifications as determined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA)
And/or
- As may be guided by relevant regulatory body
The course will be assessed at two levels: internally and externally.
- Internal assessment is continuous and is conducted by the trainer who is monitored by an accredited internal verifier while
- External assessment is conducted by accredited external assessors appointed by TVET CDACC.
Students must undergo supervised attachment for a minimum period of 4 weeks.
A candidate will be issued with a National Certificate of competency on demonstration of competence in a unit of competency.
These certificates will be issued by:
- TVET CDACC
- Beta Care Training Institute (BCTI)
24k for the entire 6 weeks of training.
